Agriturismo La Roverella takes its name from the large oak tree (Quercus Robur) that stands next to the accommodation facility, once used as a barn and vinsantaia (a place for drying grapes).
Located in the heart of the farm, you can witness seasonal agricultural activities such as pruning the vines, harvesting the grapes, racking the wine, harvesting the olives, sowing the wheat, reaping the crops and everything else that farming art and culture have handed down with hard work and enthusiasm to the present day.
La Roverella has 4 charming, fully furnished apartments suitable for all needs. Each apartment is carefully furnished and equipped with everything you need for a pleasant stay. Free Wi-Fi internet access is available in all apartments.
This is the last apartment to be renovated. It was formerly used to store oil in Ziri jars.
A ZIRO is a large terracotta jar with a vitrified interior used to store oil or other liquids.
This flat is in a rustic Tuscan style combined with a modern style, located at the rear of the manor house (Podere) dating back to around 1400.
The entrance door opens onto a small but cosy private outdoor area where you can admire the view and Siena in the distance. The entrance leads to the living room with kitchenette, spacious double bedroom and comfortable bathroom.
The apartment recreates a rural atmosphere and has been converted from a former barn. An arcade with eleven arches enhances the atmosphere.

Along a quiet country lane, just over 700 metres between rows of vineyards, you climb to the top of Poggio Tondo. From here, the view is breathtaking: Siena, elegant and majestic on the horizon, surrounded by the Val d’Arbia and the unmistakable Crete Senesi, a landscape that looks like a painting, capable of stirring emotions in every season.
A short distance away lies Ville di Corsano, a small Tuscan village with just 500 inhabitants, where life flows slowly and authentically.
Here you will find a mini-market, post office, pharmacy, bar, hairdresser, beautician, electric car charging stations, a medical clinic and a charming Romanesque church.
Just 9 km away, Monteroni d’Arbia welcomes travellers with the charm of the Via Francigena (Cassia) and the slow flow of the Arbia River, immortalised by Dante Alighieri in the Divine Comedy.
